Vorfundur Jarðfræðafélags Íslands verður haldinn föstudaginn 10. mars næstkomandi í sal 132 í Öskju Náttúrufræðahúsi Háskóla Íslands. Líkt og áður er eldri borgurum og nemendum boðið án endurgjalds á vorráðstefnur félagsins, en aðrir félagar þurfa að greiða 15.000 kr ráðstefnugjald og utan félagsmenn 18.000 kr.

Gert er ráð fyrir að um heils dags ráðstefnu verði að ræða. Félagsmenn eru hvattir til að taka daginn frá og huga að ágripum fyrirlestra og/eða veggspjalda.

Skilafrestur ágripa er 6 mars og skulu þau sendast á netfangið steinis@hi.is

Dear members

It is our great pleasure to inform you that the Spring conference of the Geological Society of Iceland will take place on Friday 10th of March, in room 132, in Askja the Natural Science Building of the University of Iceland. As usual the spring conference is free of charge for pensioners and students, but for other members the conference fee is 15.000 kr. and for nonmembers the fee is 18.000 kr.

We aim to have a whole day conference. Members of the society are encouraged to reserve the day and begin to think about abstract for talks and/or posters.

Deadline for abstract submission is 6th of March and should be send to steinis@hi.is

Further information for registration will be send out in late February.
