Dear colleagues

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to express our gratitude to all of you that have send in abstracts to the 35th Nordic Geological Winter Meeting, which will be held in Reykjavík from 11th to 13th of May. Over 300 abstracts have been received and accepted, and we look forward to interesting and fruitful meeting. We are working on sending out response to the participants and if you have not received a confirmation email from Sena then we ask you to please look in your junk mail folder or contact us directly. On our home page www.jfi.is/ngwm-2022/ we have uploaded the preliminary program of the meeting were you can see the timing of your session. An email with exact timing on your talks will be send out before the middle part of April.

We would like to draw your attention that the Early Bird registration ends on the 1st of April, but the registration will be open until the meeting starts. We also would like to draw your attention to the field excursions. One, one-day to the 2021 Fagradalsfjall eruption site on the Reykjanes Peninsula on Tuesday May 10th, and two additional three-day field excursions after the conference from the 14th to the 16th of May. One along the south coast of Iceland, and the other to the Borgarfjörður and Snæfellsnes peninsula. More detailed information can be found on the homepage of the conference.
