Dear colleagues,
Due to the increasing number of COVID infections in Iceland and other countries as well, we face increased uncertainty on how this pandemic will develop over the next few months. In light of this, we took the difficult decision to postpone the conference until middle part of May 2022.
New dates for the meeting are 11th to the 13th of May 2022.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to participate.
We cannot promise that the eruption in the vicinity of Reykjavík will still be ongoing in May, but we will do our best. We are planning to organize field excursions to the site on Saturday the 14th of May. Additionally, we will plan 2-3 days’ field excursions along the south and western part of the island. More detailed information will be provided in February.
Registration and abstract submission will open on the 15th of January 2022.
